K&N\'s for 03

I took my 03 over to K&N's new Riverside R&D facility today. They will keep it for about a week while they see if they can wring out some more HP from intake improvements. Their technicians commented on how the factory has done quite a good job in the stock form, but they want to try out a few trick things to help out the airflow.

They will do dyno's before and after any changes to document any improvements.

They would like one additional car to dyno to identify any variations from car to car. If you would be interested as the 2nd car please send me a PM.

Should have results in about a week.

My pleasure. K&N's owner, Jerry Mall, is a great guy and active member of Southern California ViperClub. He drives a very fast GTS. He will be running next week at the Silver State Classic Open Highway Race.
Looking forward to their results.
Best of success to all the Open Road Racers.

Spoke to Dino at K & N today, and he said "they found some power". They dyno'd my stock car at 444 hp. He would not tell me what they had achieved, as they are still working out the best solutions.
I'll pick up the car on Monday, and hope to give everyone an update.
Thanks to everyone who offered up their cars to make sure that this increase is not a fluke.
Will keep you posted.
