I doubt anyone is going to post on a public forum how to "break in" to a Viper. Sorry.

First of all, this is my boyfriends account that I'm using to help him out. I got a call from him this morning that his coworker locked his keys in the car, on a different job site from where he is at, otherwise he would help himself.
Second, I didn't know what he has or hasn't posted on here, or what his 'status' is, I just thought it would be a good place to start looking for help.
And, honestly, who would be dumb enough to post on a public thread asking people information on how to break into a car to steal it?

Well, I'm not going to take issue with you posting about it, but the obvious solution to this problem is to call a locksmith.

Sorry, a little too strange, first you post as if you're him, then you say you're actually the girlfriend of a guy who has a coworker who owns a viper and locked himself out. That's twice removed from the owner. The boyfriend whose account you are using has a VIN and registered in 07 so there is a faint hope this is real but the owner should come on and ask and offer some proof of ownership, there are questions we could ask of him that might prove he's an owner but I doubt you would be able to answer them. And with most phones these days accesing the internet it's hard to fathom why they had you do this.
My guess is you're real but we can't take a chance. Have the owner come on.

Anyone could figure out how to post on this board anonymously without any risk of being traced. It doesn't seem like a dumb way to break into a car. I wouldn't want my 14 year-old neighbor learning any "tricks."
I think the best bet is to post a telephone number and and address and see if there is a member nearby that would want to be of assistance. This does sound legit to me because of the information in the profile, it just needs verification that we are dealing with an owner.

I didn't think of that buddy because he works at a shop, and figured he'd know how to get back in...guess not :/ Just texted him directly, and if you're willing to help, or know how to help, pm me and I'll give you his cell number.

That still sounds shaky to me, why would the user of this account not post? Why would he have his girlfriend use the account?
I understand everyones concern about verifying things because you don't want any cars stolen. But if you're willing and able to help, I'll give you his cell number and you can talk to him directly and verify whatever you need to, you don't need to tell me anything. I'm just in the middle trying to help make some sense out of this, and help out.

Dear "just in the middle"...taking your request at face value, I'll compliment you for trying to assist your friends, as well as for your persistence. That said, I will note that in your post I cannot find the word "Viper"...but I may have missed it. Assuming that the "car" IS a Viper...what year and what model ???...as it ALL makes a difference. Also what state, city, and the name of the owner??? That info MIGHT get the ball rolling.
While many of us can say that we have indeed helped MANY (scores!!!) folks with similar issues...most of us REQUIRE facts that can be checked BEFORE we give out sensitive info...often including the car's VIN. You have given us little (or nothing)...so it is difficult to separate this inquiry from a prankster, an Internet Troll, or potential car thief.
Also of note, a NATIONAL OFFICER (who has more access to the data than I have) remains skeptical, and the head of service at the biggest Viper dealer seems doubtful...so I suggest that you and your pals either come with a full disclosure or seek a solution elsewhere.
I personally keep records on these requests...and have no problem sharing non-written advice on these issues once I have a little VERIFIED data. My last "assist" happened to be this AM.

I did this once with my Mustang, while the car was running. No spare either. Not fun.
I made sure to make a dumb spare (no plastic or anything) and carry it around in my wallet from that day on. Just a few dollars at the local hardware store.

From an old post of mine in Sept. 2009...as related to PREVENTION:
ATTENTION: ALL Viper Owners...PLEASE...
PLEASE by SURE that you have TWO FULL sets of keys (TEST to be SURE that they work for YOUR Viper), and TWO fully functional key fobs (TEST to be SURE that they work for YOUR Viper)...AND, consider carrying YOUR spare key(s) and fob with you each time you go anywhere in your Viper. (and YES, I carry spare batteries for said fobs).
It is far easier to lock your keys in your trunk (all years of roadsters and convertibles), in the "hatch" area of coupes, or in the Viper's cockpit (Gen II, III, and IV) than most people realize. Many (or MOST) of us have been locked out at one time or another...so you might want to benefit from our mistakes rather than test the system yourself.
While there are some non-damaging "tricks" that can help in certain situations...there are some more troublesome "solutions" in other years and models...and that assumes that you can find someone who can/will help you.
If this sounds a bit like a lecture...it is...but it is offered in good faith solely to make YOUR Viper ownership more pleasurable and hassle free.
Plan ahead, be prepared!!!

Thank you for your reply, and I havent given you or anyone much info becase i do not have much. My buddy is working at a shop in NC (im in MN) and the car in question is a customers car that apparently the new guy locked the keys in. I don't know how much info I am allowed to give, because i dont want anypne getting in trouble, but as of now the only thing i know that i havent told you is the shop name. (which i hope you can all understand, ans if you talk to my buddy to help him he'll probably tell you anyway) I was told viper and keys locked in, ive since gotten the info of 3rd gen convertible, so i took my best shot at finding info, with my limited car knowledge.
Here's my buddy's cell number. If someone wants to actually help, he can verify whatever info you want to know. Just tell him you got his number from Kaylee.
Hopefully someone can help.

At this point, I would politely suggest that the OWNER try to convince a locksmith to help...OR...show owner's ID, PROOF of ownership of said car at a Chrysler-Jeep-Dodge-Ram dealership along with the VIN and HOPE that they buy the story and cut a new key...AND, tell said owner just WHERE and HOW that key goes/works as that is NOT a straight-forward process.

What kind of shop is the car at? Repair shop, Stereo shop, Detail shop?
Now you're just widdling it down and eventually you'll know the name of the Shop anyway. I would consider it a performance upgrad shop.

Let me make this easy. I found out how to do this back in '04. At that time I did share it with a few key folks in the viper world. Beyond that the only way I will share this info is with the OWNER of the car. And they will have to prove to me they are the owner. Other then that sorry but you will find no futher help here.
I guess that's that then. I dont know who the owner is. I posted my buddy's number for someone to call for verification, and he would have to have the paperwork for the owner so the shop can get back in contact with them when the car is finished. If no ones wants to take the time to verify I'm not sure what else to tell ya.
