Knocking

I have a 94 RT/10 with 10K miles on it and for the last week or so at WOT I hear knocking going on. Might it be cheap gas? I've switched gas stations and have gone through two full tanks and yet today at WOT I heard the knocks again. Any thoughts or suggestions? Thanks for your help-Jonathan :confused

I have a '94 that experienced recent pinging on WOT. Seemed to coincide with the recent drop in Calif. octane from 92 to 91. I sometimes add a gallon or so of 100 octane racing gas that is readily available (but $). Some of my problem my have been related to a leaking intake manifold Some posts a couple weeks ago discussed this area in depth.

Thanks for your input. I'll try the higher octane gas. I hope this is not related to any leaking head gasket problems that Gen 1's experience.
