Large gap above Sneaky Pete brake light!

Guys and gals, I don't remember this gap being quite this large in the past, has anyone else had this happen to their Snake? What can be done, if anything, to correct it. I know I'm getting older but I sure don't remember that gap being quite that big when I bought the car. 2002 GTS. 51XXX miles. Thanks. Jeff

I just looked at a pic from my 98 when it was about 4 years old and its exactly the same as yours. i wouldnt worry
