Just to let everyone know Gerald C. from the Houston Viper club just ran a 9.99 pass at 142 mph tonight. Using his Nitrous Express N20 kit. The only kit in the 9's LOL. Congrats Gerald.

The car has a Hennessey 650R package and a Nitrous Express kit. They have been on the dyno this week tuning the car, Im not sure what pills they used, but the 142 MPH would make me think it was a 200 shot.

Are you guys dipping into the 9's NHRA legal yet?
ie: roll CAGE, SFI- balancer, bellhousing, fire suppression system, solid (non independent) rear suspension, etc...
Just curious if anyone is really legal...

Let's see - it was dry yesterday, report comes in Thursday morning from Houston, Wednesday nights at River City Raceway are popular with the Viper crowd, RCR doesn't hammer folks on NHRA tech requirements because they aren't sanctioned by NHRA. My guess? River City Raceway between SA and Seguin - about 175 miles west of Houston.

Helmets aren't required in TX; seat belts are. Apparently on a closed track, the rules bend too.

9.8's. The track conditions were bad, hot and slick. I got the 9.9 with a 1.54 60ft. There is more in it. We'll see next Wed.
