Lifters

I am getting ready to put my 2000 motor back together. I set the motor up for a blower. What performance lifters are people using? If you have part #'s that would be great.

If you are not changing the cam from stock then stick with factory lifters. If you changed the cam then the best bet is to stick with the cam grinders recommendations....

Marc....Even if you are upgrading cam.....Oem will work.....YOU MUST REPLACE, but oem is fine

If you talk to most of the after market cam Co. most dont carry them but the ones that do ex.Crower...will tell you that theirs are no better or different than OEM, at least the honest ones

There are a couple choices, the Clevite brand lifter (OE) and one that actually is better than stock.

Dave at Crower said that the Clevite lifters are the same as Mopars. Is there a different Clevite # that is better. Crower is grinding a cam for me.

How about cost? I would assume the OEM were more expensive due to the Viper "tax".
