Location of knock sensors on Gen 3 block

I wanting to find out where the knock sensors are installed on the Gen 3 block. Does anyone have any information? Photos would be great! Thanks in advance!

I didn't think a Gen 3 engine had knock sensors. Could be wrong though.

I believe 2005 and later have knock sensors. I hope so as I have ordered a pair!

As Jon B. would say, "The year matters"....... Only the '05 and up were equipped with knock sensors.

They are on 05 and up they are obviously on the block under the intake

Indeed but where specifically on the block? Presumably there's an optimal location for them to be to pick up detonation frequencies, in relation to cylincer position?

well the intake aint that big---under the intake bol;ted to the block by the intake and under the intake
