The only one I have ever seen is in an ad in viper mag., I think it is an HRE wheel ad. The car is a blk RT. No idea who made it. If memory servs correctly the pad on the front of the sport cap must come off to install top, i am sure it doesnt look grt w/ top off.

Heck, I never knew they had such a thing. LOL. I've been so aware of the double-bubble deal that I've not consciously been aware of seeing a flat top, if I have seen one. I'd like to see a picture of an RT/10 with a flat top instead of the common double-bubble top. Anyone have pics?

A company named Metalcrafters in Fountain Valley, Cal made them-- don't know if they still do. They made one for my '94 (which I no longer have). Call information for their phone #. It was about $2500. Let me know if you have trouble finding them or their # and I'll try and help.

The Northwinfd top :http://www.viperclub.org/northwind/images/1.jpg is not a double-bubble top, so it may be what you are looking for. Many like it because it does not require you to remove the sport pad to install it (like the Mopar top for the Gen I's) and it is made of carbon fiber, so it is very light and easy to handle.

I'm pretty sure Metal Crafters no longer makes their tops, the division that marketed to Viper owners was called TGF Automotive, here is a link to the items still on their web site: http://www.metalcrafters.com/shop/viper_products.html

Re: Looking for a flat hardtop, (not double bubble), for my \'94

TGF was the maker of the top in the HRE wheel ad, I also have one myself!!.. I like the look alot however there are 2 very important things to consider. If you're over 5'9" your head is going to hit the top of the roof, I had to lower my seats completely to the floor, losing all forward and back adjustments. The next issue are the windows as no one makes a set for the TGF tops so if you happen to find one be prepared for that, your factory ones won't work either. The NWE is also a "flat" roof and should work well with the Vipermania windows and Factory windows.....Good Luck in your search let me know if I can help in any way....Biff

This one is flat and low.

www.trunktop.citymaker.com

As Biff stated, it needs a custom fit window like the TGF but your vipermania windows can be modified to fit free of charge. Although this top is not quite as low as the TGF, it's still quite low. Anyone taller than 5'11 I would recommend a seat lowering kit. The low profile looks super cool.

These tops will be ready to ship in two weeks.
