The people from FrontGuard are supposed to come out and re-do my Lightning which is a warranty job, the film looks like it is getting ready to crack after 4 year. If you can wait I will let you know what type of job they do.

I have 3M on the complete front, behind the rear tires, mirrors, door handles, complete side sills. I have had no problems. Great product!

Not to hijack, but are these the most recommended areas to cover? Is this the entire side and top of the side sills?

It stops just below the Viper logo and covers the complete sill. Prevents scratches on top of the sill as people get in and out.

There is a guy who comes to you to do it. I see him around the Princeton area. I know he travels south also it, says so on his truck. Says he travels all over the state.
I see him once a week at my buddies restaurant at lunch. I will ask him for his card when I see him. I am at the restaurant every day, so I am bound to see him.
Oh, he does 3M film.

clearmask has pre-made kits designed by a viper owner that the installer uses...here are the rocker,bumper and hood kits...you can see how the xl rocker kit pretty much covers the whole side panel... they also have other kits for headlights,splash guard etc,the kits are updated for the 08 hood

Taximan, I have the 3M on my VOI9 and I love it. Front bumper, full side sills, behind front/rear wheels. I even had the installer out here order special windshield protection. So far it has saved me from 2 rocks that would have definitely put a crack or chip in the windshield. Ask your installer about it. You can't even tell it is on. It is thicker than the paint protection film.

I bet you, you saved you side sills a million times over, as well.... This area seems to get BEAT very quickly on these SRT's.. I just saw a 5000 mile FE SRT/10, and it literally looked like the sills were sand blaster underneath.
Im almost afraid to drive my car, without getting this done first... It's still sitting in my garage, with 300 +/- miles on it. LOL
