Well it seems the gremlins are still lurking around. I got the steady check engine light again today; it went away the last time before I could check the code as per the other post. Thanks to all who replied and I will shoot you the code Robbie if it is there in the morning.

But this time I also got the Low Tire Pressure alert along with it. I checked the tires and they were all 34psi (just got home) and checked them a few hours later and they were all 31psi, which is what I set them at. So, it seems I might have a flaky PCM - agree?

The tire pressure light isn't necessarily indicative of a faulty pcm.

Could be that you are losing your battery on one of the in-tire sensors, or that there is some interference with the signal.

Bob, the tire psi difference is related to the heat/cool cycle. I had TPMS light come on also and if you don't have a low tire then it could be a bad sensor. It should be a real easy fix, just swing by the dealer abd let them plug in and reset it. Good luck... :2tu:

Here is another way to reset your Lo-Pressure Light when it comes on.

1 LOWER TOP, IF ROADSTER, LOWER WINDOWS, AND REMOVE KEYS FROM THE VIPER.
2 OPEN HOOD AND REMOVE FUSE BOX COVER.
3 REMOVE TWO 10MM BOLTS FROM MAIN BATTERY CABLE AND ISOLATE CABLE FROM ANY METAL. TURN ON YOUR HRADLIGHT SWITCH TO REMOVE ANY STARY VOLTAGE AND TURN OFF.
4 REPLACE THE BATTERY CABLE, CLOSE THE FUSE BOX AND THE HOOD.
5 INSERT YOUR KEY IN THE DOOR SWITCH UNDER THE DRIVERS MIRROR AND TURN
THE KEY TO UNLOCK THE DOOR WHILE PUSHING SLIGHTLY AGAINST THE DOOR.
6 GET INTO THE CAR AND DO NOT TOUCH THE CLUTCH, BRAKE, OR GAS PEDAL
7 INSERT THE KEY AND TURN ON UNTIL THE DASH LIGHTS LIGHT UP
8 WAIT UNTIL EVERYTHING RECYCLES, ALL LIGHTS ON THE DASH ARE NORMAL, AND
THE RADIO/CD PLAYER STOPS MAKING NOISE.
9 TURN CAR OFF.
