I had my '01 dyno'd last fall with about 1000 miles on it. Completely stock the corrected RWHP was 394 which was within reason, but the RWTQ was only 414 corrected. This seems way too low. I've never seen anyone post less than about 440RWTQ for a GenII.

I had never had a car dyno'd before, but the operation seemed a little shakey to me. Is it possible with a poor setup to get an incorrect torque reading but accurate HP reading? If so, what kind of things should I look for? If the reading is accurate, what kinds of things would make me so down on torque but not HP?

Ken,

Dont worry about it, 99.99999% chance that it was just the dyno jet you were on. Just go to a different dyno and do some more pulls.

For the most part all dyno jet opperators make sure that the dyno #'s you see are higher than actual. Meaning you never hear people saying things like "help my viper pulled too much torque", in your case you got an opperator whose dyno is way off in the wrong dirrection.
