I really like the violet. What a shame. There is a violet vert for sale out there. I think it's a little over priced though.

you think so? it needs ALOT of work. It looks like the frame is busted up. I hope that it will be back on the road, but kinda doubt it.

Trust me it will be back on the road. That car is a easy repair if you know what you are doing. :D

Well, someone has to want to shell out 37,500.00 for it first, and I just do not see that happening. Someone may want to buy it for 15,000.00, but not what they are asking. The resale value would be way less than it would cost to repair it. It probably would sale for 40,000.00, maybe, if it was a repaired salvage titled car.

Believe there were 9 ACRs, and if memory serves me correctly 5 came from us. There is one very unique combination in the State of Washington ------------Viper Violet ACR with matching driver's stripe and matching Cobra Helicopter!!!

Normal resale value on a salvage title seems to be about 20% lower. So if an 08 with 2k miles is worth $60k, if fixed correctly, would be worth about $48k. They have a buy price of $41.5k on their website - so IF you could do the repairs for $7k you would break even. Need more pictures, but as someone pointed out, I would say it is definitely repairable. The front frame horn that looked bad, is not really a functional, structural part of the frame - rather an extension past the frame to support the radiator. The drivers side sill while looking bad, is also an area that doesn't provide a lot of structural support. If you could buy it right - say at $31k - you MIGHT be able to come out OK and have a good Gen 4 driver at a decent price. Just my $0.02 - and I do have experience rebuilding Vipers.

Nice assessment! I have NEVER rebuilt a Viper, but I think it would cost more than 7,000 to repair that one.

That is a sweet color. I don't know why they seem to sell very few cars in the best colors. What is wrong with people. Just to give an example Violet, Slate Crystal Pearl and Sapphire and Graphite on the Gen II's, all low production numbers and some of the best colors ever made IMHO.
