You never know.....
Sorry.. I had to vent a little..

Just wanted to say thanks to all of you guys for keeping me entertained while I am deployed.. I have learned so much on this forum about my car and about the Viper community. Thanks to all who have answered questions and put up with my random ramblings. Be back in the states June 12th and I have a date with a lady in a red snakeskin dress (hope my wife hasn't found this site yet)

She is keeping my baby safe for me.. See how much she loves it!

Sorry if this pic offends anyone. :curse:

Is that your wife taking that picture?

EDIT: oh, and I cringe looking at that plastic cover on that paint.

Look on the bright side of your wife's affection for your car. If I leave town for more than 3 days mine'd sell the GTS.

Stay safe and get home soon.

yes that is my wife taking the picture... she's the best!

Now now... do you take me for a fool..

There is a Griots "tan flannel" cover underneath.. then two layers of blankets.. and then the "lockable" cheapo cover on top..

you guys yell at me if you want for not letting the paint breathe..

But I have a wife who could care less about cars, two kids, and plenty of "throwable" objects in my garage...

Its like a viper fort knox.

Thankyou for your service. :usa: Are you returning on leave or are you home for good? It's funny about how women get jealous of anything that gets a man's attention aside from them. It's also funny that they think that their love is all we need to be happy.

I had to let my wife spend big money renovating the kitchen to level the playing field after getting my Viper. It was either that or let her nag me to death about the Viper to the point I almost couldn't enjoy having it. Now with kitchen under construction I can be myself again guilt free and even nag her a little about the kitchen and the pain in the asp the construction process is. :D

LOL! It'll be over soon enough! Enjoy NZ while you can!

Don't forget to take some pics or videos. I was looking through my old photos, and I've only got like 6 shots left, out of four years spent in foreign countries. When you are young, you don't think about that stuff, so "snap away"!

Hope your family has some friends around to keep 'em company.

Way to go guys, hang in there and do the time. I've got my 20 years behind me and know that empty feeling that comes with being away. USAF You can see the light you'll be driving in no time Jucd take it one day at a time bro the waiting game *****! Just think of the low mileage you'll retain this year :~(

Be safe and thanks for taking up the charge men, we here back home DO appreciate your service to the Country! :usa:

WHAT? I did ten years active duty USAF and couldn't afford a Viper unless my wife offered to work street corners in nice neighborhoods! What's the secret?

Thanks for your service, and we wish you a safe trip home. Don't go the Viper first thing, or the little lady will definitely get ********** to a spectacular level ...

ok heres the secret... I DON'T BUY STUPID STUFF....

Hopefully no one on here thinks vipers are stupid... my wife sure does..

I am 29 and have only been in the service 8 short years. I do not feel the need to run off to Best Buy and purchase $500 worth of Xbox games and other useless crap every month. Trust me I have heard it all..."he must sell drugs"... "his daddy bought it for him"... People need to check the market these days.. Some Gen II vipers CAN be bought cheaper than some new trucks! Whats really funny is that all of the "haters" roll around in new F-150's that probably cost more than my 97 GTS. Plus it dosent hurt that I have bought, renovated, and then sold a couple of homes for a "decent" profit...hehehe

And yes.. I am going to stay out of the garage as long as possible to avoid that skirmish! Its going to be hard though..

5 more days!!!!
