Here's Marilyn and she likes to play 'Hard to get' making me wait 8 long months before finally being by my side. She's so pretty in her white dress, but as a sophisticated Lady, she insisted on a facelift, so a body colored front grill was in order. She also likes to wear some shiny jewels, so she got some machined wheels with painted SRT logo. When I tought that was enough, she insisted on only travelling with a set of matching luggage of the finest Italian leather. A Corsa exhaust was also installed so everyone would notice when she arrives in style. It's not easy to satisfy a Mistress like Marilyn, but when I spend some precious time with her it all seems worth it !!!!

She's lookin good, Claude. How are you liking the Corsa exhaust now? Anything new worth noting? I'm pretty sure I'm gonna do it.

Yes, I like the Corsa exhaust, sure sounds meaner and louder than stock, like a Viper should and it adds lots of burbles when slowing down. Driving with the windows down is pure joy.
But when driving with the windows closed, the drone is gone from the 2,000- 2,400 rpm zone in higher 5 and 6th gears, but it's still there in the lower ones like 1st and 2nd. Today and over the week-end I'll do more street /highway driving with windows up and listen more carefully to it.

A few more pics, with different ways to load the luggage, as I'm planning a few week-ends on the road with the wife

Luggage capacity is better than I would have thought. The color combo looks great! How does your wife like riding in the Viper?

She didn't complain in the Gen4 with Belanger headers and KW suspension, so she's charmed by the new one !

That's good to hear. Nothing as disappointing as a wife that doesn't enjoy going for a ride.

Does your Corsa have a high pitched noise the higher the rpms climb? The two videos I've seen on YouTube I'm hearing a noise.

Similar to stock at high revs, except louder and meaner, mine does not have that metallic sound as heard from the video. At low revs it has a deeper tone. But the drone is not completly gone when driving with windows up, it still present here and there especially when applying some pressure on the gas pedal. Hard to explain but consider it just like a Belanger or Borla catback as Corsa did not cancel all the Drone on this system. Better than stock : YES, Drone free : NO

Does the rear hatch shut with those two suitcases up top as shown? Haha. Soft-sided luggage works much easier in this car, but I like the matching leather. Who machined the wheels? Looks great!

To answer some *** I got about the machined wheels here is some info :
I brought my Sidewinder wheels to the local ' Wheel repair shop' (called P.Jacques in the Montreal area). Find the one in your area that Dealers send wheel to be repaired. First they did a light sandblasting on the face of the wheel so that the last step final clear coat would adhere. Then they place the wheel in a machine to make it turn and with a metal cutter they removed a layer of metal from the surface of the wheel. Then they repainted the wheel with a coat of baked clear, waited 24 hours and remounted the new Mich PSS tires on. They charged me $100 per wheel + $20 to install and balance each tire. So for under $500 I got the sparkling finish that I wanted for those wheels, looks like it came that way from the factory.

About the surprising luggage capacity of the Gen5, here's some pics of our last Viper Club meeting in l'Esterel Quebec and all that I was able to fit in the trunk of the car for the drive back home.

Would you have prefered some custom made luggage and a Viper watch made for the vehicles ?
