The Stirling Moss SLR is a sweet car, but I'd rather have a Veritas RS III. It looks similar to the SM SLR, but IMO, it has more character.

yea that has a little to much character for me. looks like all the bad parts of the sterling moss, z3, and one of those new maseratis.

oh and the sls- think of it this way: If it wasn't the latest car since the delorean (i think) to have legitimate roof-hinge gullwing doors, it would probably have no merit what so ever. Without the uniqueness of the doors, I would take an SL over that any day.

It is interesting as the pics do not do it justice but both the SLR and SLS just seem to have weird dimensions to me. The front end (aft the front doors) is way too long and the car lacks the symytry for some reason. I understand why they do it (engineering-wise), but it makes it look weird to me. Hate to say it, but the currrent SL65 Black Series is quite a bit more appealing than either the SLR or from what I have seen thus far of the SLS. The Gullwing SLS will sell well becuase it is suppose to be extremely civilized and the interior is awesome, but I think they could have made the car a litle longer, stretched out the rear end and taken some of the roundness out of the rear roof profile. Just my opinion, but a test drive would be in order to make a final judgement. I hated the new Porsche Panamera from the pictures, but test drove one and the damn thing grew on me.
