MGW Gripper shifter vs. First Strike

Hi, all. New to Vipers, should be getting a 98' Red GTS in the next few weeks. I'd like to add one of these knobs. Does anyone have experience with both of these knobs and which did you prefer and why. TIA

I have the First Strike, it's a very natural grip... and it looks real nice too...

I had the First strike and changed it to the gripper. I like the round knob better.

just put the MGW knob on this wknd, love it, also has the sneaky pete logo on it

Felt both before settling on the gripper. I like the way it feels better.

Thanks for your input fellas. I think I'll be going with the Gripper. I do like the round knob better.

I tried both and went with the first strike. Just depends...

An alternate suggestion - I liked stock, and just cut down the stock shaft by 1.5" to make it closer to what I felt was the correct height. (One reason I liked the stock knob was that I was happy with the feel/shape of it, and it matched the interior connelly leather color).

I have the gripper shifter and really like it. I like the look and feel. Especially over the stock 4WD looking shifter
