Momo Steering Wheel

I have a 2001 ACR, if I replace the factory steering wheel with a Momo and pull the Airbag fuse will I still get a light? I can clear codes but I just do not want to do that every time I fire the car up.

Good question. Let us know what you find out. I'm going with a Sparco quick release wheel.

I'm about 99% positive that you will get a light. Easiest thing to do is pull the fuse and yank the bulb out of the cluster.

I've installed several Sparco and Momo steering wheels with a quick release (and buttons on the spokes for the horn). It will set a light, fuse or no fuse, you have to remove the push-in bulb from the back of the cluster. Or you can make up a circuit with matched resistor to the air bag.

what about adding a resistor to the plug for the airbag?

I have put in a MOMO in my -99 and yes the light is turned on!
But there is a solution to that problem, put in a resistor in the plug for the airbag and the problem is solved !
I can´t remember what resistens it was on the resistor but it´s no big deal to find out.
I will try to help you out with that one if you like !?
