You should save the rear window seal. It was probably glued onto the glass from the factory, but mine doesn't stick anymore. Some frugal folks might be intested in it if you don't want it.

I just wonder if the replacement window will come with the seal? The old one basically came right off the broken glass so it is salvageable. It would probably be smart to keep a spare one since the rubber tends to dry up and crack.

I feel bad. I never understood vandals. The worst I ever did was tp houses and soap windows. No harm in that. But actual damage? Stupid and cowardly.

Last year I wanted to fix the rotted seal around the rear glass on my car. I ended up finding a local glass shop that located several factory windows for just over a hundred bucks. I posted it on here and they were all grabbed up quick. Check with the local glass companies, there may be some sitting around in their suppliers warehouse. It came with the seal and all the hardware.
