MS EVENTS?

Are there ever any events or gatherings in or close to MS? I know there is a casino cruise in late April in Shreveport. I would like to know if anyone close has any cruises or if there are any tracks around to go and drive on. I feel I am neglecting my car. You know they have feelings too.
