I also believe that after 30K miles you have failed plugs, and/or wires, that have fouled the cats.....and/or the oxy sensors.

the OE crossover-exhaust is hot to begin with.....

STOCK Champions (but nut due any Bosch Issues)
Quality Wires
Ceramic Cats

NOT a fan of catless, esp on sidepipe cars.

You lose torque
You get back-fire-popping, vs a nice burble
You have to deal with CELs
You get flames / scorching out the sidepipes unless ISM-tuned...
8.3L of STINK 24'' from your hair, eyes, and clothes.

Ceramic bolt-on SRT HF cats solve all that as well as your other problems.

Thanks Jon, and everyone else.

I pulled the exhaust out from the headers back Monday morning, and I have ordered everything I need to put it together the way I want next week. My wife gave me a baby boy yesterday afternoon so I have a few other things to take care of first.

I am going to try it w/o cats since it is mainly a track car and I am going to get it dyno tuned to take care of some of the ill effects. I am not a proud man when it comes to car-related decisions, so I will have no problem switching to hi-flows if it doesn't work out. I look forward to getting it back together and properly sorted. I'll let you guys know how it goes.
