cool guage...how thick is it?...wondering if I can fit it in the dash.

its very thin, like 3/4 i believe. I was going to put it in the dash but didnt want to take the time right now. You can make custom faces also.

Couple of questions about it,

-Since it monitors several functions, is there a delay in the readings?
Since you and I have been researching these gauges, I have discovered that some of the "multi gauges'" do have a delay and that could be critical (AF)

- Doesn't the PLX have the ability to set alarms on all the functions it is monitoring? For instance, if you are viewing AF and your water temp. goes high, an alarm goes off and the water temp. gauge comes on the screen?

I could be wrong but the only delay is if you pull the odb2 data, any sensor is real time. In this case I dont have the obd2 setup so I have the a/f and boost sesnsor and its real time, it does take the a/f about 45 seconds to warm up.

Like someone stated already, it would be nice to mount it in a different position. For me, I was thinking a mount somewhere around the rear view mirror, up top as it would not be obstructing normal view and could kind of be hidden but in the corner view while looking forward or something. If it is that thin than that opens up alot of opportunities.

Can it use existing sensors (f/a, fuel pressure, MAP, etc.)? If so that would be a great way to get rid of the A pillar pod (which has caused jammed fingers during autocross before).

I am going to remove one of my OEM gauges and replace with a gauge like this. I am going to use the AEM multi because it plugs right into my AEM EMS. The new multi gauge will monitor the function of the OEM gauge it replaced PLUS all othe other functions that are available with the new gauge. (AF, fuel pressure etc...)

The gauge has a safety alarm the you set for each function. This alarm goes off (regardless of what is on the screen at the time)and the screen switches to the function in trouble. That way you don't need to scroll around to monitor everything.

Best part is no cutting or modifying the dash... These new gauges are the same size as the OEM gauges. I am going to put a Raptor shift light in the small "pass. seat belt" hole also.

Actually, I am a PLX dealer and can add they are really good products. You'll find several of the A/F as well as boost gauges in our SC Vipers' as well as Turbo cars.

The ease of installation, accuracy and thin gauge makes them ideal for our DLM cars! I think you'll like them as well!

They should be ok... right??

ILLSMOQ...I know you used an Innovate multi gauge. The spec states that it is 2 1/16 also. Did you need to cut your dash?

Funny thing about those gauges...while they look like individual 2 1/16" gauges...they are actually a single unit behind the dash...so you'll need to do a guagendectomy from the "gauge assembly" to make room for your new gauge to fit.
