Need 17\" Pilot Sports - Good Deals?

Soon I will need some rear 17" Pilot Sports, but would get a set of 4 tires if the price is right. Where are some good prices to be had for these? What are the prices to be had? (I.e., I don't want to hear "Call XYZ, the prices are great" and call some place where the prices might be...flexible.)

Forget it. Us 17" rim owners are the red headed step children that Michelin has forgotten about. Even the Pilot Sport 17" are out of site high!

Thanks for the suggestion, but I think it's 18" tires that have the deals, it seems that 17" tires are sky high in comparison.

slaughterj, I'm in the same boat for both my cars. It *****!The best price I've gotten is from 4 Day Tire @ $1248 out the door. $1248 X 2= OUCH I'm almost tempted to run the Kumhos at $750 per set. Please let me know if you find a good deal out there.

You might want to check with Sears, of all places! When they have a Michelin sale, they have the best prices fo anybody. However, be very careful about mounting, have them get their best tire guy in the shop to mount the tires on your wheels, or you could have trouble there. I got a set of rears last summer from Sears for about 640.00 complete, fronts are about 100 less for the Pilot Sports. Why are the 17" ones so darned expensive compared to 18"? If Sears does not wor out for you, give Jon B a call or Tire Rack.
