Yes Dad.

Vipers are daily drivers PERIOD. I have done it for 6 years straight. I say after 60k you buy a new one, and start all over. Thats what I did.

Thats me staying on topic. BTW how do I enable the spam filter/blocker? (seriously)

If you click on a members name, then "View Public Profile", you'll see a gray bar right underneath their avatar with "Add {member} to your buddy list" and "Add {member} to your ignore list". Click the latter.

OMG, I don't know if this is my punishment, but I swear to god, it only allows me to click 'add to buddy list.' There is not such ignore option for the offending post spammer. PLEASE help me :omg:!!!!!!

That s your punishment and you will like it!!!!

And when you walk out to your car this morning, it will no longer be a Viper. It will now bea beastly 436hp Paddle shifting automatic monster, with heated seats of course.
Be sure to post pics :D

Dear Bookie,

If your buddy is single here's some added information to help your friend choose:

-I drove into the old city I used to live in with my girlfriend in my Viper
-was meeting a female friend of mine and introducing my girlfriend to her for the 1st time
-as we pull in the parking lot, a guy in a nice Vette is just getting out of his Vette and his buddy is with him
-we chat about cars for a moment and head inside
-my friend runs up and greets my girlfriend and I and as we sit down for some dinner, she says:

Those two hot chicks over at the bar saw the Vette pull into the lot and both said nothing....then your Viper pulled in and the one young lady said to the other "If the driver of that Viper is single, I'm taking him home".

Of course I didn't even look their direction til much later (and very discreetly of course) as I was happily in a relationship and didn't want to suffer the rest of the weekend!

Best of luck in your friend's choice!

Regards,
Aaron

See what I mean...everyone notices a Viper!

YES, they do...you get the 'thumbs-up' from EVERYone...once had a fella pull alongside in an old pickup truck, motioning for me to roll down the window...which of course, I did...he pointed to his MOTHER (70's maybe?)...and said SHE LOVES YOUR VIPER!!! LOL...you get it EVERYwhere...be prepared to BE NOTICED! Another lady asked 'WOW, is that an EXOTIC car????'...lol...pointed to the DODGE VIPER on the car...she was speechless. You get it WHEREVER you go....BE PREPARED...if your friend does NOT wish to be NOTICED...get the VETTE...I drive anonymously in the VETTE, but still get the ones who wanna 'get on it' with me...I'm game, either way! :drive: ~juli

I had some guy the other day in a 350Z come flying up to me and then when he saw that it was a Viper, he ever so noticably backed off. Everyone is game until they realize what you've got.

Some guy even tried to trade me his wife and kids for the car...no lie!

Still nice. I'm afraid to drive my Mamba to work (downtown Richmond, VA) since nobody respects the boundaries of a parking space around here. I only take it out when it's nice and people can see it.

I feel ya. I'm still sketchy about leaving it in parkinglots. Never fails even if ya park waaaaaaay out in the middle of nowhere theres still some ******* that just has to park right next to ya by the time you come out.
And why is it its always the people in the total POS car that has to do that???? First time I find a ding in the door from them there getting the entire side of there car kicked in.

I try to find 2 spots where nobody can park around me way out at the end and then take them both. I love to walk up as someone is gawking at it and then just jump in and drive off...they have this look on their face like they couldn't believe it just happened. Almost like they expect some alien to come and get in it.

HAHA I know just what your saying. Being covored in tattoos adds to there suprise when i hop in and take off. When they ask if its mine I usually tell em nah I'm stealing it. HAHA always gets a good look from em.

I really get looks because they always expect some old guy to get in and here I come (a 30yo punk) and hop in. I really love when it's some guy in a pos and his girlfriend...he looks at me, then at her to see her reaction - which is always priceless.

I also love when you get the guys at stop lights that either gawk or try to make it look like they're not looking. So much fun!

Ever try to play it cool when someone asks you about it and you respond "It's just a car." I love that one.
haha yeah they just kinda look in awe. One thing I have knoticed is that I get some dirtyass looks from the majority of the cops around here. I dont know what the deal withthem is but damn they maddog me everytime they see me.

Most of the cops around here are cool. A lot of them know Bernie at BJ Motors (where I bought mine), so they seem cool. A few of them have given me the thumbs up...nobody real mean or dirty - yet.

Is it going to be somewhat of a daily driver, vette wins.

Not if you want to DRIVE daily :D

To me the SRT-10 roadster is a much better daily driver than my '04 Z06 coupe ever was... Once you go ******* there is no way back

However, the Vette probably is better/safer if you want to do something else than driving, like talking on your cell phone, eating, or doing anything else you should not do while driving. If you fall into this category, get a Vette with automatic transmission :smirk:
