Well, the Viper "croaked" today on I-10 in the rush hour. Running about 60MPH, it gave out a puff of white smoke, and soon started overheating. I got it off the freeway ASAP and it looks as though the power steering died, (clearish oil was running from underneath. It didn't look to be motor oil and the oil pressure was still OK. I need your input, to which dealers can I entrust the car and perhaps also those to avoid. I am located in Chino Hills,CA (Western San Bernardino County) Your input is appreciated. Thanks.............

Find a 5 star dealer in your area and verify they have a certified viper tech. If you run out of luck call Dan Cragin at DC Performance - he will help you locate a viper tech in your area or will get your car towed to his shop. He is one of the best on the west coast.

5 start is JOKE!! It is marketing ONLY!! The worst Dealers are now 5 star!

Call Dan!!!! 310-925-9579

That is why there are Five Star Dealers and Five Star "Elite" dealers. Just so all of you know, Woodhouse is a DCX Five Star Elite dealer. This has nothing to do with marketing.

I don't think anyone on here would say that Woodhouse is one of the "worst" dealers.

No one said that about Woodhouse! They are one of the best, NOT because of DC's 5 star marketing programe! 5 star is f$$king joke!!

Thanks to everyone for your input, especially Tony Cappellano and Dan Cragin for promptly answering my telephone inquiries. After speaking with Tony, the President of the SoCal Viper Club, the car was sent yesterday to Huntington Beach Dodge. I will let you know the outcome.

Final Word on the Problem- The car was repaired and picked-up yesterday. The cause of the problem was as-suspected, a power steering hose becoming loose where it was clamped; therefore, spewing-out all the fluid. Since this fluid also drives a hydraulic cooling fan, the engine began to overheat. Huntington Beach Dodge (Paul Ullom - Service Advisor 714-847-5515)is professional and through and looks to be a very good Dodge Dealer and a place to go for service in the LA area. Thanks again to Tony and Dan for their good advice.
