need help with 08 hood grill size

Can someone with an 08 hood measure the hexagon size on the 08 hood grill area. Are they 1/4 inch from side to side, or closer to .45 to .5 inch. Thanks.

It is not a perfect hexagon. It is elongated. The inside measurement of the longest point is .525" The shortest inside measurement is .275 (distance between the two closest parallel sides) Hard to explain without drawing it, I hope this helps.

That *****, can anyone post a picture up close with a ruler next to it, or even on it. I thought they were perfect hexs.

*****? I was trying to help you. Look at the pics in the other thread on 08 hoods that is out now. It shows pics of a GTS blue hood from the inside. Maybe you can figure it out Einstein.

I meant that the Hexagons ****, you might need to check your meds, this isnt the alley, dont get me wrong I like the alley. And looking at the pictures, they look like perfect Hexagons EINSTEIN

You may have to eat some crow here as it may be just the angle that picture was taken. I did see them in person and seem to recall them looking like a honeycomb with perfect hexagons.

No crow necessary. I have an 08 in my garage. When 85 of 200 made his post, I went out with my mike and measured it for him. I was only trying to help, believe me the "hexagon" is elongated. Unless of course my 08 is different from all the rest.

My choise about the car is only a SRT-10 stock (fisrt GEN 2006) because the coupe don't exist in 1/18 scale...and his futur color is candy lime green like the real....as possibls for pics.
