I need some input from the Viper Nation. What Viper merchandise would you like in the New Conner Store? I have a few suggestions from the people I have sent text to. And from twitter.

I have been asked to get ideas from Viper Owners. Conner Ave ( CAAP where the Viper is built) has had a store inside the plant since before I started working there. The store space is being used for something new. Bit of course there are plans to build a new store.
Here is a small list of what I have bought in the past.

Viper Christmas Ornament
T-Shirts
Hats
Leather Coat
Sweat Pants

What would you like to be able to purchace after your tour of the Viper Assembly Plant?

Viper polo style shirt. Viper driving shoes. Viper driving gloves. One piece road course racing suit. Folding, collapsable chair with Viper logo that can be stored in tote bag.

I think stuff that has CAAP on it. You know, things unique to that plant, stuff you can't just get anywhere. I have never been there, but I am sure some thing can be made.

I'm looking forward to the new Viper store at CAAP. I attending my first VOI last month and was very surprised at the lack of merchandise available for sale. I thought that would be the place to buy everything and anything Viper.
I would like to see a nice selection of jackets, from lightweight to leathers. Maybe some banners and Viper graphics.

As was previously stated....anything that makes it unique to the having just gone through the Connor plant....not (just) the run of the mill Bburago models and baseball caps! (although some of those would be fine too!)..but more so items that have the CAAP logo on them..CAAP caps..shirts..pens..keychains...ANYTHING and EVERYTHING!!

Bring back those beautiful leather Viper jackets. Yellow/Black with Sneaky Pete logo would be ideal. :)

Hey T.,

Great to know you are going to be back at CAAP and look forward to seeing you again. Maybe in January.

I used my blue GTS small pocket knife from CAAP store earlier today.

Some of the official "Team" Shirts that the plant workers get would be cool if it's permitted. I still have the one with the green eyes but it's pretty worn out.

pens - good ones, are nice

other good ideas above and having unique, CAAP only items are a plus.

On the unique to CAAP stuff, if someone would be willing to make a scale 1:43 replica of the final assembly station plus a bit in front of that with fixtures and everything, add a special plaque and combine it with a 1:43 gen 5 model (or any of the other gens in Minichamps-like quality) then you may have a hot selling item but I may be a bit biased with hobby enthusiasm :)

For those who will pick up their car at CAAP I have the following suggestion: allow for a picture to be taken in front of their car coming off the assembly line (or if the owner can not be there without the car, a staff member could put it on the passenger seat in a care package) and have an in-CAAP t-shirt shop put it on a pre-logo'd t-shirt so that the new owner can take it home that same day. This would really be a unique added feature!

And yes if the gen 4 can be replicated in scale model form along with a gen 1.5 and 2 RT/ later style wheels GTS can be made I too hope this is not too much to ask.

I read this thread while at work today. I submitted a list based on the first 14 replies. Don't worry I will add more to the list as new or different suggestions come up.

Viper and CAAP polos
Viper race style jacket. Think AMLS style, not Nascar
GTS-R polo and jackets
Special posters not available elsewhere (Viper production shots, GTS R race shots)

Ok now we are getting somewhere, in addition to the picture t-shirt a poster of each individual car could be a sweet add to a unique CAAP care package for new owners, add an identical-to-real-car separate 1:43 or 1:18 scale model (CAAP paint shop could paint them at the same time as the real car) in a quality casing as desired and the CAAP store will be the sweetspot of Viper memorabiblia :headbang:

Oh no! Its you again! :rolaugh:

Banners, flags, posters, shirts, GTS-R goods (that SRT is currently selling at the race events), the custom jackets, small items like mugs, hats, pictures, parts that are seconds (not good enough for production but people can buy as memorabilia), videos, etc. Really anything with a Viper logo is good! :)

I may never make it to CAAP so it would be nice if they had an on line option. Do they?

Will the store at the plant sell VCA merchandise also? While all Viper owners are interested in the newer cars, it makes sense that there are more owners of the earlier cars who didn't buy their cars new, and are looking for clothing, collectables, etc., representing the earlier cars. I've had my car for almost six years and Sneaky Pete clothing and collectables have always been hard to come by. I also would love "the on line option" from the store. I bought a new Harley back in the '70s and in those days there was very damn little in the way of H-D clothing or collectables. Now, I wouldn't be a bit surprised if Harley Davidson makes more money from their clothing and collectables than they do their motorcycles. There was always a market, but it was years later before they realized it existed and how best to manage and utilize it.

I have asked that all items be available with all three Viper logos. As for the online store? We have never had this as an option. In the past the plant manager has run the store for tours. If they added an online option they would have to add a person just to run the store. I'm not sure they're willing to do that. But of course I will ask.

Sybil ----> Just because you asked I'll see what I can do about that Viper bikini. :2tu:

VCA merchandise has never been sold at Conner. You should check with your local club if you are looking for those items.

Agree with much of the above:

SRT ALMS apparel, including driver suits/shoes/glove
CAAP apparel
Sneaky Pete and Fang items... not just Stryker and GenV stuff
Winter beanies
diecast models
Wall art, posters, banners, etc
Any Viper-branded garage items (e.g. tools, furniture, etc)
