My rubber gas flap that folds out is ripped in the center, so when a gas nozzle rests on my car, it still makes contact with the paint. Anyone know of a an aftermarket one or a original replacement one? Please let me know...

You can get them at your local dodge dealership for like $6 or $8. Chuck told me just to get it there, postage would be as much as the flap.

I made one from a foam sheet I bought at a craft store. Comes in colors, comes thicker also. Test it, although mine was gasoline-insoluble. But $6 is pretty cheap.

If/after you get a new one, go to your local bike store, or any store that sells inner tube patch kits. Cut a piece large enough to cover the lip where the nozzle rests, and glue (glue supplied with patch kit) to the down side of the new rubber guard. This adds thickness and cushions the nozzle as it rests on the guard.
