Neutral Gear Rattle - \'99 vs \'00

Has anyone here had first-hand experience listening to NGR in both a '99 and '00? If so, is NGR reduced significantly in the '00 or only slightly?

Thanks!

I had a '95 R/T10 and the NGR was very noticeable. When I upgraded to the '99GTS, I believe the dealer had mentioned that they had all but eliminated the NGR by changing the type of transmission fluid and I believe a mechanical change as well (just can't remember). Anyway, I've got 8500 miles on the '99 now and just changed the trans fluid to Amsoil synthetic (75W140) and there are still no signs of any NGR.

I have a 97 GTS that had very noticable NGR. When the transmission was replaced with a new one with the updated fluid, the NGR dissappeared. I actually kind of miss it......

From what I've read, the main reason they changed to a milder cam in '00 and later Vipers was to help eliminate NGR. I'm just curious as to whether or not that fixed the problem, either in whole or in part.
