New 01\' ACR for 68k!

For anyone interested I saw a 01' ACR red no stripes, comf/conv group for 68k all taxes included. Dealer is in Idaho. I left the number at work but if anyone is interested I can post it tmmrw. The car has 15 miles on it and never been titled. Seems like a steal.

The guys name is Eric Lee.
Latham Motors
Phone number is 208-736-7080.

I spoke to him yesterday and from what I can tell it is legit. I thought 68k was a good deal, but Bruce is pobably right and you could get it cheaper. He said someone from Cali was inquiring. TZL maybe you already have been checking on this one?

Re: New 01\' ACR for 68k!

I actually passed up a 2001 Red ACR with comfort group for $60,000 in Indiana a month or so ago. A Dodge dealer had it. Had roughly 1,500 miles. Ended up buying a new '02 GTS for $65,000 plus lux tax. Wanted to finally own a new Viper and give it the proper break in. Also love yellow and thought the last year of coupes (at least for now) would be cool.

While others complain about their cars dropping in price....I'm proud of you and others that work to get a good price.

Re: New 01\' ACR for 68k!

I am currently working with Eric to buy this car. We have agreed to terms and hopefully in the next day or two I will be able to announce the good news. Is it possible for someone in the area to take a look at the car and confirm it is indeed "New".

Thanks,

Jim

I concur. I will be looking for an RT/10 starting next month so I am excited to hear about these types of deals.

Re: New 01\' ACR for 68k!

Well, it seems that this car may never really have been available. I had a signed agreement to buy the car ,with serial number, dated 12/17/02 and somehow the car was sold yesterday (12/19/02) to someone else. Numerous unreturned calls to Eric and the dealer made me suspicious.

Be careful out there!

Re: New 01\' ACR for 68k!

Had a situation similar to this a few years ago with a dealer in Cinc. Oh....signed a deal on a Prowler, all was done, took my Visa number etc etc.....when I called back to see if the car was prepped yet, they told me the owner had decided to sell it to someone else "for more money"....since then, I have bought 8 Prowlers and 8 Vipers...NONE FROM THEM !!!....I simply don't understand why anyone deals with these guys....SHOP WOODHOUSE AND SAVE THE HEADACHES, STORIES, AND "GHOST CARS" at super prices.....Bill P. and Bob W. are the real thing !!!

Absolutely --- Woodhouse and Bill Pemberton. Sure fire success. NEVER a heartache. I will NEVER buy another vehicle from anyone but them.

I am sure Viper Wizard and a FEW others are great too, and have wonderful reputations, but I have only done business with Woodhouse, they've been perfect, so why take a chance? If Woodhouse closed down, my next stop would be the Wizard.

Re: New 01\' ACR for 68k!

I tried to buy a Viper from Eric and at the time they would only
sell them for WAY over sticker! This was a couple of years ago, but other dealers were selling them for just over invoice at the same time?
