Maybe not everyone wants to drop off their cars for 6-12 months and take one in the **** at the end of their journey?

Lets just make things clear, When guys drop there rides off at UGR or Heffner, 90% of the time they arent getting twins bolted on and driving away. Most are getting extensive 1000+hp cars. Im in the process of building one myself and it by no means is a quick or cheap project, at least to do it the right way...Add on multiple cars in the shop, parts being on back order, ect ect time goes away QUICK.

Why, I'll tell you. All you tuner nut swinging jockeys are the same! You all are threatened by another shop offering something different that can challenge you and your manhood, especially if it costs wayy less than you got bent over for

I have over 5K in just my FUEL system...So i can see where people arise questions with such a cheap price tag, corners need to be cut somewhere. Before I got into working on the viper I also thought places like underground were a total rip off with prices, until I realized what actually goes into a fully built 100% top notch 1000+ HP car. Now im not hating on steves turbo system by any means, but if you can come on here and compair it to a UGR, Heffner, VSP, or CNC engine dynamics system, you obviously havent seen anymore to those systems then the intake tubes in the engine bay. There is a reason those systems cost mad money to obtain.

Heres a waste gate set up for Aries ( Forum member ) Viper...Yes thats Nasa Gold Lining rated to hold up to a Constant tempurate of 850 degrees.

Hey Matt, Im not defending or vouching for Steves system, I'm simply putting a nut ******* in place! Everything has a price but in all seriousness, I was quoted in excess of 65k by multiple tuners for a TT build. One was in the 80s :rolleyes:I know too well the process of building a high hp car as I too once spent big $$ with Dlm with my 940rwhp FE back in the day. Yes the build quality was there and the car was strong, but missing deadline after deadline and going over the original build budget shouldn't be acceptable because these tuners think they are gods! also, I don't think Steve was comparing his system to any of the above mentioned tuner systems, just an alternative cost minded option. Is it gonna work and going to be reliable? Who knows, but at least I will give credit where credit is due! He is trying, and I applaude him for it.

Hey Matt,

Nice pics of Aries Turbo system, I originally sold that system to Aries and he had it modified at CNC.

Every system is developed to meet a certain end.

Some are to make 1600 horsepower and run the mile events,

Some are to go to the strip and run 9's

Some are to have lots of USEABLE POWER and be everyday driveable.... This is what mine is for, everyday, competent at the strip.

This system had a few certain parameters to be hit, it was to meet a price point, basically Turbo system for the price of a Paxton system (with the add ons that a Paxton requires, i.e. headers etc)

Every thing on this system has been designed to "keep it simple" as the less to go wrong the better and it had certain horsepower goals. The goals were to be 650 at 6psi and 750-775 at ~8PSI. The system hit those goals.

My tuning has been done by Michael Brito at Britospeed, an expert at tuning and developing turbo systems.

I consulted endlessly with Michael as he had a system on his own car that at 770rwhp (MUSTANG DYNO RWHP) that has lasted 19000 miles in Florida heat with the same approximate fuel system/cooling system/turbo sizing etc.

I went one step further and used Oilless Turbos to eliminate the dreaded Oiling problems that Viper turbo cars run into.

19000 miles is more than the life of most Vipers altogether, and it is a hell of a lot more miles than a lot of turbo vipers ever end up with (if you combine them all). I would like to see the lifespan of the 1600Hp systems out there, a lot of them end up being sold within a few hundred miles of being finished.

When it comes to cosmetics, that is the next step, could I have used an air to air LIKE EVERYBODY ELSE and run 2 2.5 inch pipe with a blow off welded to each and run them to the throttle body or throttle bodies (LIKE EVERYBODY ELSE)

YES I COULD HAVE, it would have been a lot easier to do than what I have done.

I have those systems in the works as we type.

Hating? That's funny. Why would I want to develop something when there are so many proven systems out there? <<<rhetorical
The phrase "work smarter, not harder" comes to mind.
I've owned a Heffner TT and had 2 different RSI TT installs on two different cars.

Haven't you heard? You don't know squat. And this unproven moving target of a TT kit, looks like Ebay trash from any angle you force yourself to look at it.

"Work smarter, not harder" does not apply in this circumstance, it just makes you lazy. Someone else is trying a new path of creating a product for the Viper community and you cut down their efforts. I guess you should tell all the big Supra tuning shops to stop trying to develop new and more efficient turbo systems that are pushing small 3.0lt I6's that can beat 99% of the Vipers out there. Oh wait, since you swing on RSI's nuts who is practically owned by MVP that is a what....? oh yea, a Supra shop! Steve is using his own funds to work out the bugs and not the money of his customers by blowing up their engines and demanding more money to rebuild it (RSI). This kit would require MUCH LESS mechanical knowledge to install than the kits already on the market which will take away from the 12 month install time, in some cases 3 years (RSI). Remember, don't forget to cup the balls next time to swing by RSI....

You just showed what a clueless boob you are.
Keep posting about TT Viper information you have to get via 3rd-4th party....which explains your far reaching drivel.
Oh wait...have you ever owned a TT Viper? Heffner, Old RSI, New RSI, UR...anything?

You designed the system on Aries car? Isnt it a footwell turbo system with an Air to air just like " EVERYBODY ELSE" What is there to design? Howard never mention you sold aries the system or that he had modified a system to work on that car...He's either taking credit for your work or theres funny buisness going on behind that comment...Howards quite the fabricator so I have a hard time believing He bolted on a turbo system you developed and sold...did you only make the one for aires and then stop?

Heres Howards build thread
http://forums.viperclub.org/threads/644974-Aries-gets-TWINS!/page2?highlight=aries+twins

^^^
I guess thats Howard taking credit for your work?

I was going to reply to the rest of the comment but now decided not to after Ive convinced myself you had nothing to do with Joes car or Howards Turbo system on it.

Your System?

Matt,

I sold the turbo system to Joe. years ago now.

It was originally the system on the E85 Viper. It made 1100+ HP on E85 back then.

It was purchased from me on July 9th , 2010

Shipped to Joe on July 15th, 2010

Then it was modified into the system that is on the car now by whomever modified it and that is what is on the car now.

"Hey Steve the Fed Ex with the check went out today for Sat delivery. It does require a signature. The tracking number is 8704 9822 7309. Thanks again
Joe

Sure is! Torque carries all the way to the end! So who's gonna be first to install your kit? Hopefully no one here in NY lol..

There are a few in progress right now to be shipped out,

I also have a couple of cars here that are getting ready for some turbos as well , one of these will have my new foot well system with an air to air inter cooler.

any pics of the foot well setup? Or is there another thread about it? I love seeing the fabrication process on things like this.

Here is a pic of the air to water intercooler/intake as included in the system, now that the functional parts are done we are refining the aesthetics to give the system a show look

Here is the final foot-well system, it is set at the same boost levels and the boost reference is being taken right before the throttle body so power should be the same but will come on a tiny bit earlier, time to polish up an intae and give these pipes their final buff and polish as well...

Wow, I should have paid attention to this thread now that my car and tuner were mentioned. The only thing I have to say is CNC had very little to do with my car build. While it was built at a building with the name of CNC Engine Dynamics on it, Howard Anderson is 100% responsible for my build, not CNC.

Yes, Steve did sell me the turbo system. However, the only thing we used from the system was the headers, the rest Howard Anderson fabricated. Not because anything was wrong with the other parts, but because I wanted to go with ball bearing turbos and a larger intercooler.

Here are some pics of a gen 3 Twin turbo build we are in the middle of , this is a footwell system using our Comp Turbo triple ceramic ball bearing OIL LESS turbos, Tial WASTEGATES and BOV's and a number of other trick features, this is one of our $11,995 G3 Turbo installs (install included).

This system will make approx 750 RWHP on a stock block, we also offer built motors starting at $9895.00, power levels on built motos exceed 1000RWHP

Here are some pics, I will post up some component pics after the patent apps are filed (some trick stuff)

Can we see some SAE corrected dyno numbers? Why would you post STD numbers? Everyone knows that they are either over inflated or under inflated depending on the atmospheric conditions for that particular day.

STD is how they ran the graphs, I have the SAE of the 6 PSI graph and the difference is actually within about 10 HP of each other so its not a big issue, I'm sure in other regional areas where elevation (I'm at 100' above sea level here) and extreme heat come into play it may be a bigger difference.

The car needs to be seen running fast n reliably

Only proper for Viper owners to see few videos & times of 60-130 mph runs similar to whats frequently shown on other high hp street car forums. You can post V Box graphs easily too.

Some roll on videos relative to any other reasonably high hp car be good as a general scale.

Ultimately acceleration by driving is the real deal backing up the product and an important factor.

Sorry, but I will leave the high speed highway runs to those that do that sort of thing, where I live it is not safe, smart or legal.
