New Battery Cured my Idle Surge

If any of you are having a problem with your idle surging I would start with the battery if it is a few years old. My was 6 years old and as soon as the motor got hot my idle would start going up and down every time I came to a stop. I went with a Autozone Duralast Gold, 800 cranking amps and 8 year warranty (3 full). For 107$ it's well worth it.

Does it work on Humans too? I know one or two who are fairly idle!

any chance it was due to being disconnected for a length of time clearing the computer?

I tried clearing the pcm before and it didn't work.
