hey guys ,
i wanted to show you the pics of the new design composite race knob for the vipers i am making.
( note: i has discussed the allowing of me to occasionally post brand new items in this forum with jay and joe houss so i hope this is ok
i really like the first strike race knob we make but the only drawback is when racing on a road course you really want to be able to get your hand on and off the shift knob quickly and our design makes that hard to do. it is more desinged for drag racing. so i decided to look into what the pros have been using and found that most just use a simple "BROOMSTICK" or "JOYSTICK"
looking thingy on the shifters. well they ain't pretty but they must work. soooo.....
i decided i could at least give them a little MGW flair and still keep the basic design. i chose the composite to also help the heat issue. i think they look pretty cool and the best part is they are a bit cheaper at 60.00 instead of 75.00!!!
here you go...
regards
