new dyno #\'s, big torque !!!

Just got back from the dyno to test out my new high flo cats from Roe.

Before the cats it made 438rwhp and 480rwt on a 95 degree day

today it was at least 20 degrees cooler and it only made 438.9 rwhp and 489.3 rwt.
Was not impressed with the gains on motor from the cats(was told it would be more like 15-20 rwhp).

on spray it made 545.6 rwhp last time and 566.1 rwhp today.

It made 688.7 rwt last time and an unbeleivable 723.5 rwt today

I think this should get me deep into the tens with a drag radial next week.

Seems that the cats were pretty useless until you sprayed...You should take them out completely!!

Did you dyno with the purners and with stock wheels? I am curious how the dyno react's to the different wheels, if at all. (I am so inpatient, our dyno arrives in a couple weeks.....)

We have seen 670rwhp on an engine with this system at 6psi
and some decent heads. We upgraded one of the Paxton pumps and ran a bigger injector. It did seem to just go a little lean right at 6200rpm. I think with the boost level he is running and a modified fuel system the numbers could be possible.

Did you install the sims? I also found that you can get more power with no cats and VEC1 as the car w/o runs very rich. I gained 8RWHP and 12RWTQ

Put in the sims.

How much louder is it without the cats ?

Thinking of headers or 1.7's next.
