Hi Guys,
First I want to say "thanks" for the great forum! I'm new here, and was able to find my Viper because of the list of dealers available here on the forum. I purchased #1323 in mid May from Dennis Rocke at Roanoke Motor Co. I also talked with Buehler and Woodhouse, but Dennis had the car immediately, and took my car in trade. The trade was good for me, because it saved me a few thousand in Ohio sales tax, vs. selling outright. Dennis set up the delivery exchange, using Tom Phillips of S&P Motorsports. The entire experience was pleasurable and professional. I like the Viper a lot, and I'm becoming more familiar with it after a few months and a few thousand miles.I was wondering if the Conner Ave. Assembly Plant has plant tours on a regular basis, or only as a part of special events? Any info. about this is appreciated! Thanks! :)

Bill -

Welcome aboard and congratulations on your SRT! I hope you are enjoying it as much as we enjoy ours.

Currently the Conner Avenue Assembly Plant (CAAP) is not open for any tours. Not quite sure what the reasoning is, as it was open for scheduled tours prior to the SRT going to assembly. I would assume that there are no more "secrets" that they are worried about, so I honestly don't know if/when they will reopen for tours. Too bad, because it really is great fun and is a learning experience - not to mention all the money you can spend at the Viper Store inside the plant.

Again, congrats on your new Viper!

Chris

Chris,
Thanks for your warm welcome and your reply to my question. I have been lurking on the Forum for the past few months and have enjoyed your informative posts and excellent photography----almost makes me wish I'd bought black instead of red!
