Andy, that looks great!!!

Only thing left for you to do would be to do your seats in grey and red! That would set that inside off!

I'm still waiting on my dash.

Hats off to you. That's one of the best looking dashes I have seen, and I've owned three of them!

Lots of exceptional detail work and a very unique finish. You should be commended for such a superlative job. I have seen a few attempts at a similar upgrades, but the photos show a very high quality custom job!

Kudos and props to a colorful interior decorating job.

PS - HGTV may be calling you soon, ha.

Andy-

One ? How do you shift without busting up some fingers?

Your shifter looks really low-especially after you'd put it into gear!

Mine was like that and I had to buy a longer bolt for the MGW knob to go on.

Thanks all. I am also very pleased with the look. It feels like a new car. The seats would definately add to the whole package (and subtract from my bank account!!)

Matt, I agree the shift knob could be a little higher, I still have a little adjustment room. So far it seems as if I'll be able to stay off the paint. If I were racing, I'd want it higher so as not to bang some knuckles.

What size is that shifter bolt in case I decide to try a longer extension?

RedEnf93,

My Supra buddy did not sale his car yet, a guy came up from VA and was supposed to get it but backed out. Now he is getting nervous and jerky because he does not want to go through spring without a car, so he is thinking about waiting till the fall now. Poor him, I would not put it off at all if I would have known how much fun these cars are all along!
If you want to go cruise give me a call on Saturday or Monday (I am off & the wife is working). I am ready whenever you call.

Andy-

I bought the 4 inch piece from Rich Detert which was way too small(I don't have the rubber isolator on mine either). I then took that piece to a machine shop and had a 6 1/2 inch piece made and it turned out perfect! You've got to adjust the nut to the right height and readjust so when you put your boot on top of the nut and screw the MGW shifter on, your knob's snake is aligned where you want it. (The nut holds the boot up).
Here's a pic. Not the greatest but you can see it okay.

Andy-

I don't know the thread size and both sides are different. If you want the 4 inch piece I got from Rich, e-mail me your address and I'll send it to you for free and then you can take it to a machine shop and have a longer one made pretty cheap.
