New rubber for the old snake

Hey guys,

yesterday I changed the very, very, very old tires (still from the previous owner) of my 1995 to brand new ones from Michelin. I am so pleased I did this, you won't believe how so much better the ride quality and driving feel now is. I can only recommend to all of you to change the tires on a regular basis! Not only for safety, but also for the new found fun in our old snakes! ;-)

i'm also curious...I paid about 450euro's each for the rear's on my RT/10 in the time...
i can only say I noticed the same difference! Enjoy the new grip!

Hi guys! I paid about 450 Euros per rear tire, the ones for the front were a bit cheaper. Anyone any idea how much a 335/35 R17 costs in the US?

I paid 197,- € per front tire, but 18" (Michelin PS2). As for the rears (18") I got both together for 350,- €! But that was a VERY special deal....

When I got my Viper 3 years ago it had new PS2's on the rear wheels and old Kumho All Seasons (!!) on the front wheels (all 17"). First thing I did getting home was ordering new PS2's for the front. It was day and night, sooooooo much better...

So more or less the same price we pay here in Germany. Thought they would be a lot cheaper in the US of A.

I think 17" Michelin are more expensive than 18". Also, my prices did not include mounting & balancing. Here's a pic of the new-to-me 18" wheels...

the wide 17"wheels are for sure more expensive, almost no car has as wide tires as we have and when they do, they aren't 17 inch...

tires for the Gen 3 are cheaper than those for the Gen 1...and that's a good thing for me!
