New soon to be Viper owner....What oil do you guys run???

Vipers are filled with MObil 1 synthetic 10w-30 srtaight from the factory same as Porsche and Corvette. It says right on the oil filler cap on the valve cover. I'm sure others use red line etc... but for the most part owners use Mobil.

Royal Purple 1st
Red Line 2nd
Mobil One 3rd

In my early Viper I have found that Mobil One does not hold up well at the track. When I use the Royal Purple there never seems to be consumption.

If you are talking about street only use then you can probably use any synthetic.

Amsoil Series 2000 0-30W. IMO, The Mobil factory fill is strictly a marketing decision.
