Well, after buying this car, it was painfully obvious the cast intake manifold needed to be replaced with a polished one to match the Paxton. While researching the process here on the forum, I checked on eBay and found this one for sale. I won the auction a couple days later, and I installed it yesterday. What I liked most about this intake is the center and lower runners are painted with a high temp black paint, so with these parts painted, keeping everything else polished should be a breeze.

I also polished the throttle body as it was the last remaining piece not polished on top.

I plan to add the billet oil fill cap, polished letters to go over the Viper logo(I can't get these to polish up nicely) and some PCV breathers. I think everything else will stand out more without overdoing the polished/chrome. Lemme know what you think! :2tu:

Looks awesome Ryan! Got some black small diameter conduit to cover the red **** line and I think it will look even more factory.

Great job buddy! Oh yeh what did you use to polish your throttle boddy it turned out nice.

I'm gonna wait until winter and get some longer tubing and reroute it underneath

As far as the TB, I just sanded it with tiny dremel bits and then wetsanded it from 400 up to 2000 in about 5 stages. I then buffed it with Dremel polishing bits with Adams #2. It was easy, but tedious
