does that mean I have to paint another hood pad?

Can i get mine painted yellow please.
I painted a hood pad once and never want to have that much fun again. Not that it was difficult but it was time consuming took
3 weeks.

What's the purpose of the hood pad? Can't see how that would help cool the A/C, side sills or underhood temps.

Long overdue!! Especially for the earlier cars. Heat management on these cars ****. With coolant tubes next
to exhaust pipes, it's no wonder that temp gauge and tach seem
to be connected. And most of us, have at least, thought about
stuffing insulation inside the rocker sills.
