First thanks to John at CCW for all his help. I had many questions during the buying process and he took the time to answer them all.

Wanted something that would do well in the traction department as I hope to go turbo one day.

These are LM20s custom made for the Viper. Gloss black lips with Satin centers. Pics don't do them justice.

Well its been a long frustrating day. I'm not sure who owned the car before me, but they over torqued some of the lug nuts.

All the wheels are on but the front driver side. One lug nut, THE LAST ONE to take off to get the stock wheels off is stripped and seized. Even with an impact drill with 340lbs tq and a damage bolt kit which grabs the lug nut, it still wont spin and come off :(

So I'm not sure what the next step is, other then taking it to a shop. I sprayed PB Blast on the bolt and will let it sit over night to try one last time in the morning. But its not looking good.

Had this happen on two lugs before on a different car. Use a breaker bar and manually go back and forth turning on the nut; essentially what you're going to do is twist the stud metal until it shears like a paper clip. Put a piece of towel or something between the outside of your socket and the inside edge of your wheel hole, since twisting seized the nut will cause it to bend up/down/left/right and there will be times when your socket is scraping against the wheel spoke. Just need to work it back and forth until you twist enough and get it to shear off.

Then you can hammer/pop out the stud off the hub and pickup a new stud (maybe even at your local auto parts store) and get 'er there good as new. You'll be able to press the new stud into the hub simply by turning a new nut against the hub face itself (use washers to help). It's not that bad of a job at all; you'll be back up in no time :)

Thanks, I really am trying not to have to replace the stud right now. I just can't believe I was able to get them all off but this single one. To top it off, we just got hit with snow, so taking it to a shop is out of the questions.

I feel bad I couldn't share pics but here is one from the side that is done. Suspension still hasn't settled.

I normally do not like all black wheels but this style/combo looks great. :2tu:hope you figure out the stubborn stud issue

Great news! After a day of trying everything from impact guns to every wrench, I GOT IT OFF!

Here is what I did in case others run in to the same problem. Threading was perfect on the stud after removal. This is a common practice that I didn't believe would work after trying a 400lbft impact wrench. It came right off with very little pressure.

Only thing that ***** is we got hit with snow and won't be able to get it out for pics anytime soon.

Impact Grade Damaged Bolt/Nut Remover. I hammered this in to the stuck lug nut.
