new windsheild

anyone know how much a new windsheild runs? stone hit the windshield and left about a 4-5 inch crack, not looking good at all.

New Windshield for a 06 Coupe is 750.00 Canadian, I got a rock first time out this spring and the glass shop filled it to stop from spreading. Ordered a new one but it is a couple weeks away.

your insurance company doesn't replace it? i know here in florida my insurance company replaces them. for free. its happend to me twice with other cars.

Just had mine replaced last week here in Tampa. My invoice is on the table at home. I think it ran about $440.00 total, but the insurance picked it all up. Really nice job, took about 45 minutes, but I had the wipers, shrowd, etc all off so all the tech had to do was remove/replace.

safelite, $350, they installed at my house the next day, and yes the windshield is the same part, it had a mopar part number on it.

that's exactly what I did, booked it online with safelite, and they did everything for me the next morning (12 hours later...)

State Farm replaces "any" window in the car with no deductable. Windshields I believe are covered at no charge by law. Visiblity is an issue ...no charge to replace.
