One of my patients, Steve, was a real car enthusiast. When he would come into my office we would talk about my Viper and the '67 Camaro he was restoring. We would talk for a while and he'd always put me behind schedule, but I never minded. He would explain that his two young kids and his demanding work schedule didn't allow for much time to restore his car. It was coming along slowly but he couldn't wait for the chance to finally drive his restored beauty.
Steve won't get that chance...
Steve was a New York City firefighter who lost his life today at the World Trade Center. He was 37.
Tonight, before you go to sleep, count your blessings and say a prayer for Steve's family.

This thing is going to really rachet up when we start seeing the many, many innocent faces of this cowardly act. Presumably, there were women and small kids on these planes that must have experienced sheer terror , the likes of which is unthinkable. There is no punitive action great enough to address these animals. Good bless the many heroes.

FastFreddie,
I know your NOT a man of hate, I just hope others understand why you feel so strongly about your beliefs. It's just very difficult and too delicate of a subject to discuss via Internet.

If Osama bin laden is the puppeteer of this horrific act of terrorism, than I wish upon him a fate worse than death and the same for those who conspired to act in his cowardice attack on America.

We will never resolve World Peace by venting on the Viper forum and I pray we don't divide by venting on each other. If we need to hate, lets do it in small handfuls, not in prejudice against other races or religions.

My prayers go out to all of us effected by this tragedy,

God bless Steve and his family. Let's honor him and all the other fallen Americans by lighting up the ones responsible for this and/or the governments harboring them.

This tragedy has hit home:

My wife's cousin Anthony, always a brother to her, was at work at his office on floor 107 of the first building to be hit. His son received a call from him at 8:30 AM yesterday, from his desk, the last time anyone has heard his voice.

Anthony has still not checked in with his wife and family.

We Pray for a miracle.

My prayers go out, my cousin Peter is a NY firefighter, he called yesterday after the second building fell to say he was not caught up in it like many other firefighters. He again called in the evening saying he almost was caught when building #7 fell but made it out by the skin of his teeth. So many brave men, so many useless deaths.

I will pray especially for those spouses, children and other relatives who never had a chance to say good-bye. It's a very special pain. May God's love support and sustain you all.
