All,

Just supercharged my Viper, RWHP was 559, and torque was 630.

This is not the final pull since the computer is not dialed all the way in yet.

But with this kind of horse power, I know I will break the stock half shafts, so the question is WHO MAKES/SELLS THE BEST!!

If anyone is interested in the supercharger let me know,

Mark

Regarding supercharging ... I am all ears.

Usually most people DIY ... at least most people who have Mustangs, Camaros, and Firebirds. But of course, no-brainer kits are offered by everyone selling superchargers.

I have done a lot with Paxton blowthru and am interested in what is involved in doing the Viper. If there are no "kits", the bigest hurdle will be the ECM.

It does sound like you DIY. I would gladly heard anything you would care to share.

Thanks
Tom

Mark,

Take a look at the shafts on my site at BTRVIPER.com

They are guaranteed not to break. Period.

They are on sale for $ 699.95 for the set.

thanks,

Mark:

I would concur that you should talk to Doug Levin.

An FYI for all of you, I just saw Jerry from Unitrax (in Anaheim, CA) on our visit to CDI a couple of weeks ago. I had some very trick half shafts that he is testing. They looked extremely strong and lightweight. I think that Jerry is talking to Doug about doing some testing for them.

It's worth a call to them. Good luck.

The super charger is not in kit format, it is a custom super charger install. All parts were fabricated for the my Viper.

Friday is another dyno day, and hopefully it will be dialed in.
