Looking for a nice indoor storage cover for a GTS. Doesn't need to be custom fit but I'd like something that's pretty close...

Suggestions ?

I bought a cover from snakeoyl products. It was custom fit. Try Jon B at partsrack as well.

Try your local Dodge dealer. I knew a guy that worked there (not a close friend tho) and he got me the official Dodge Viper one in the Sneaky Pete bag for $ 150.00. I hardly ever use it though......I still need to look at my car about everyday.

for indoor use I use the cheap ones from an ebay store....they are way cheaper, lighter, washable and fit well but not tight. I perfer covers that are lose to prevent scratching.

Thanks Bob...

We stock a fitted cover, 4-layer evo-breathable fabric, water repellant, w/ Viper GTS Logo; includes a nice GTS logo-sport bag (for many uses.) THis 'padded' feel cover offers added protection against garage mishaps....stuff can get too close by mistake.(Our housekeeper dragged her floor-polisher between my Viper and StealthTT. She scuffed the Stealth, but the Viper was SAFE.) I think you could toss a wrench on the covered hood and not have to panic! Or cats, etc.

On our website, ships same-day as ordered. Or E-me [email protected]
[OR....buy cheap on flea-bay and Ill be closed next year!]

THANKS

JonB sent me a new Dodge Viper Cover last week. It is the same one I have had for 10 years. I use it inside and out. Performs well in the wind. Loose fit in the wind will fly away. I have to think that a tight fit will be safer if your talking about scuffing. Any way, buy a good quality cover for your Viper, buy it from the parts rack, we can't afford to have them close up do to lack of cover-charge. :eater:

I didn't mean to imply that the fitted style covers like those that Jon sells are the wrong choice.... just that I find for the constant on-off use that mine get I prefer loose fitting covers because the thick padded covers that are form fitting are very hard to put in a washing machine and where I live we have alot of dust that gets in the covers and turns them into sandpaper after awhile and need to be washed often. I drive my cars often and cover them after every drive (after wiping them down of course) so the easy to put on and off loose covers work best for me. I only use my covers to keep dust off when in the garage, not for protection. Jon is right that the padded OEM style covers will provide a great protection. In my old garage I had a plastic box fall on my hood and there was NO damage thanks to the OEM cover, in my new garage the cars are not near shelves:2tu:
