I have been searching through many SRT forums looking for information on Nitrous set ups for SRT10 Viper. I have an 06 coupe and an looking for information for a wet kit. I am interested in the BTR system that uses propane but I have only seen these kits on the Gen 1's and Gen 2's which come with forged internals from the factory. I have not seen or heard of the BTR propane kits on Gen 3's and their limits on their stock cast internals. I am looking for the nitrous guru's for Gen 3's, knowledgeable individuals who have experience with nitrous systems on only Gen 3's.

What is the safe limit for a wet shot or a BTR wet/propane kit on the Gen 3's? I have heard 150 wet is very safe and 200 is max safe. I've also heard of a Gen 3 engine giving out on a 200.

I used to own an LS1 Trans am on a NX 150 wet shot and ran it for over a year with minor issues (ie: stuck solenoid).

I am looking for as much feedback as possible on nitrous on Gen 3's.

15 views and 0 responses, I assume there are more enthusiasts that care to acquire the same information that I seek. Where are the Gen 3 nitrous people?

i have the btr system on my 05, and i can tell you it works great, with green filters, cosair track exhaust,170 thermo,i step lower spark plugs, im at 660 rwhp, which equates to 790 hp, i had to get hoosiers and caged half shafts to control this beast. 0 to 60 feels like 2 seconds, get it its great

Have run BTR systems on 4 Gen 3 Vipers. Currently have the Nitrous/propane/fuel set-up on an '06. Easy to get to 650whp without danger. Ran 660whp with just the Nos/propane on an '03 for many years.
