Many thanks to all those who attended the Pocono "test and tune" day. Adel did a great job and everyone pitched in to help make the day a safe and fun experience for all. We even had a few Porsches, couple of vettes (1 Z06) and even two (yikes!) Fords.
To our non-Viper comrades in cars, nice try but try to stay out of the way of the big dogs ok (only kidding, guys, true car guys appreciate performance cars regardless of make......sure!!)
Random Notes:
Looks like the Viper Pit Racing team is gearing up for a good season..Adel and Chris Barones gang had 5 snakes to set up.
Adel, I wasn't the Black and Silver ACR/GTS that was all over the track, honest!! But a funny footnote, after the Black/Silver car (who shall remain nameless but who ultimately admitted to never having driven on any track of any type) returned to the pit he was overheard being told by his guest the following:
,"...you were the only one on the track using your blinkers when you went into the turns.." The funny thing is I saw the blinkers on and laughed all the way home!!!
Great job by the Pocono staff also. They got us going and really didn't interfere with the day at all. Great customer relations guys.
Lastly, a special tribute to Les Williams who had the unenvieable duty to collect the $$. In addition to this chore, Les also was the coordinator for the turn marshalls and personally was the starter for most of the day. Very unselfish and he made the day very pleasurable for all. Thanks Les
Can hardly wait for the Viper Ferrari track day at Pocono on May 4th!!
