Kenny, I realize what you said was not threatening. But the board took a very strong anti-threat stance last year after a moderator received real threats. So I would just go back and edit it as it really did break with the no personal threat policy (even though it seems innocent).

Now Rdustman's comments were much worse in my book. As I indicated elsewhere I consider this a family board. Certainly the mainstream portions like this. His comments and word choices were over the line. They look like they were also the precursor to Kenny's comments.

As far as the yellow thing I can't believe it would be real. Not unless there is something behind the scenes that I haven't seen.

Kenny, I can't believe that you were actually serious! Somebody is ABSOLUTELY jacking with you. When a "warning" is sent out to a member (which is so rare I can't even remember the last one), it is copied to ALL of the moderators. The e-mail you quote (above) is complete BS. Somebody is yanking your chain in a big way. And yanking ours in turn. Maybe we should check some of those "other" sites to see who is chuckling...

Unfortunately the email is being sent via an anonymous remailer. Not much we can do to track the owner, although the link to the remailer is interesting in itself (from my point of view).

The vca.org should have been the first key since that isnt our site.
