Looks like there could be some weather moving in for the holiday weekend. Friday night at Boonton may be a good option. Looks like they are doing Fast Times at Ridgewood High on Sunday if the weather holds up. Guess we'll watch the forecast.

Lead East is this weekend at the Parsippany Hilton. It's a 50's/ hot rods car show, not one to take the snakes to, but a great showing of very nice cars none the less. Mike - they sell beer there .

Been there done that... it's the epicenter of overly loud 50's music through bad speakers. I get a migraine just thinking about it... Good show if you're really into rods, sleds and pre 60's stuff. I think it was $30 when I went a few years ago.
I'm up for meeting at the Tara at 6pm tomorrow and heading over to Boonton.

Just completely gut rebuilt my entire garage at my new house and thought you guys would appreciate it. Here are a few pics.....

Here are a couple old before shots when it was a spider infested place with mountains of mouse crap inside the old crummy cabinetry.

And here are the shots just before I installed the new stainless fridge in place. I reprinted the walls, ceiling, installed new über bright lighting, ran a few new electric lines, had a new granite epoxy floor installed, and a whole new custom brushed aluminum look cabinetry system installed.

Hey Guys - if anyone wants to come up to C+C in New Canaan CT I'd be happy to meet you near the Tappan Zee Bridge and ****** from there... it's about 35 minutes from the bridge, most of it a beautiful wooded parkway which just got re-paved over the last few weeks. (the Merritt)

Well, no one had any interest in the Ridgewood show that I posted. Anyway, we all need to talk and plan a fall lunch cruise for ourselves. I'm starting to think the event schedule bobby mentioned isn't coming.

A reminder that on Sunday, September 15, we will be having our bi-weekly gathering at a special location for that day -- Intercar, Inc. which is a Mercedes-Benz dealership in Newton, NJ (on US-206 north of Interstate 80). One of our members, Frank Allocca, owns this dealership and he and his General Sales Manager, Reza Heravi, have graciously offered to host us that day. The dealership will be "open" for browsing exclusively for Cars & Croissants members (as most of you know, car dealerships in NJ are not allowed to be open on Sundays). Intercar will provide a light breakfast as well (bagels, pastries, coffee, juice, etc.). So put this on your calendar -- more info to come as we
get closer to the date.

Definitely down for a Fall lunch cruise. September and October are jammed months for me between lots of unpacking to still do at my new pad, company coming to stay with us from out of town, my sister having a baby, and several weddings that I unfortunately have to go to..... The car is currently at Tator's garage getting worked on, but I'm in the Upper Saddle River car show in 2 weekends, and my car was also invited to be a part of the Scarsdale Concours d'Elegance in October. Awesome show, and you guys should try to stop by both as well if you can. Hope to see the whole crew soon.
