Not sure if anyone has done this with MP3\'s

I recently bought a Creative Nomad MP3 Player for my Viper. It holds 20 Gigs worth of music. You can play music through your radio without having to take it apart.

Radio shack sells a FM modulator that works on the low freq on the fm station. The sound is clear and man!! over 6,000 songs!

No more CD's all over the place, no more looking for what cd's to bring with you and if you are like me, I like to listen to books on tapes through my MP3 player!

I haven't had a problem with it skipping either.

I use a program called Blubster. You can do a search on cnet.com for it. Also a program called grokster. Only thing about grokster is that is has spyware built into it. After I am done using it, I do a adware deletion on it. I got over 7 gigs of mp3s. I also downloaded adobe photoshop for free and premere too! I got soo many fre programs from that shareware program.

Kungfool,

you should get it, it's awesome!!! No more CD's or scratched cds' too!

The cool thing again is...you can use your existing radio in the Viper and anyone that is 20 feet can tune into your Mp3's!!

Just thought I'd rain a little on our parade, but I saw that the Justice Department was going to back off a little on the terrorism focus and start charging people with copyright infringement thru file sharing on peer-to-peer networks.

Don't get me wrong, I troll for MP3's just like anyone else.

I would think that a handfull of people will be caught and "made an example of" and that will be the end of it.

There are just too many (like... everyone?) people doing this.

I use KazaaLite which is KaZaa w/o the spyware.

I used to use AudioGalaxy but I guess they got spanked just like Napster.

Tom

PS. My opinion is that MP3's and P-P networks are basically "radio." The only problem is that the record companies don't have control over what we are "permitted" to listen too.

Too bad for them. They basically stand in the way of small bands and force too many to sell out to get the contract.

I have been doing this with my iPod for quite awhile. Using the iRock FM modulator. I use it a work too. The iRock is pretty cheaply built but is portable so can be used with any radio, not just in the car. I used it on a house boat last weekend.

P.S. The iPod software is now available for you pc guys too.....
