That does sound good. One should never hang an air freshener from the rear view mirror of a car that sounds that good.

Looks like some nasty German weather! Trees are Bare, looks wet and very dreary.

That Snake does sound good. I bet the owner puts some miles on that one! The airfreshner is GREAT! LOL And he's got he Sat. Radio or Nav on the window!

Sounds DAMN good too! :2tu:

You could replicate that sound by simply going without any muffling at all. Your engine sounds very similar to that right off the headers.

Have to disagree. That is not a stock idle. At the very least, I would say heads/cam.

I also seriously doubt he has any CATS on.

I dont have the idle sound that he does...but at wide open throttle we sound pretty similar. Mods on my SRT Ram are no cats, headers, custom Corsa exhaust, 4 dynomax mufflers, Paxton. The vid is before I got a flashed PCM from DC Performance. The cars in the vid would be even further behind if I had it :)

Definitely has heads and cam. Not 100% sure about cats though. Before I got my heads and cam, I was out with my buddy who had the same year car as me. We had the same headers/cats and cat back. The only difference in our cars was that he had head/cam work. I swore up and down he had either removed or gutted the cats.

I changed my belief after my head/cam work. My car was a lot louder and has the raspy idle just like the SRT in the video. So don't assume the car does not have cats.

What kind of power increase are you getting with heads and cam? Is it just as reliable?

Heads/cam/roller rockers will yeild around 100 rwhp. Depending on the tune, you may get less, or more. You also have to factor in driveability when considering the tune.

Reliable? I went this route over forced induction (supercharger). It always seemed to me that guys with a SC were always having tuning issues, pulley issues, and destoring a cylinder here and there due to detonation. Some may argue that a high lift cam will reduce engine longevity, but since my car is not a daily driver I was not concerned about that. So far I have 3,500 miles and with the exception of some PCM tuning issues, all is well. And the tuning issues are under light throttle/load conditions.
